My Journey with Crystals, Spirituality and Self-Care

I’ve always been drawn to beautiful things, and maybe that’s why crystals caught my eye at first. At the beginning they were just pretty stones to me, but over time they’ve become little reminders I carry with me. They anchor me when life feels busy or overwhelming, and they help me pause for a moment.
I believe that to feel happy in body, mind and spirit, we need to find a sense of inner harmony. For me, spirituality isn’t about strict rules or complicated rituals. It’s more about noticing how I feel, slowing down, and creating small moments that bring me back to myself. Sometimes that looks like holding a crystal and setting an intention. Other times it’s as simple as breathing deeply or making my morning tea slowly instead of rushing through it.

In India there is a strong belief in chakras, the body’s energy centres, and the idea that energy needs to flow freely between them. Crystals can be part of that healing process, with certain stones said to support different energy points. Whether you fully believe in it or not, I love the thought of using crystals as gentle tools to help release blocks and restore balance.

It is also why I feel so connected to the gemstones I use in my jewelry. Stones like tanzanite and emerald are not only stunning but also carry their own energy and symbolism. For me they are more than materials, they are little pieces of the earth that bring beauty and intention together in a way that feels deeply personal.
Crystals don’t magically fix anything in my life. What they do is remind me to listen to myself and to check in with what I need in that moment. Maybe it’s rest, maybe it’s inspiration, maybe it’s just five quiet minutes without my phone. And honestly, that practice has been life-changing.

Self-care, to me, isn’t only about spa days or long baths. It’s also journaling, walking outside, or lighting a candle and sitting in silence. It’s about those little rituals that help me feel balanced again, even when the world feels chaotic.
So yes, I love crystals. But more than that, I love what they represent: creating space to reconnect with myself, to find harmony, and to treat my mind, body and spirit with kindness. And at the end of the day, that’s what spirituality and self-care are really about. With love, Sofie
