Ibiza isn’t always what you expect. Everyone knows the island for its parties and beach clubs, but there’s another Ibiza too. A softer, slower one. That’s the one I found at Atzaró.
As you drive up north, the energy changes. The landscape opens up, greener, quieter, more spacious. And then suddenly you arrive. Atzaró feels super hidden yet welcoming, surrounded by orange groves and Mediterranean gardens. The moment I stepped inside, I felt straight at home. The air smelled of citrus and herbs, the light was soft, and time felt different.. like it completely stopped for a moment.

I didn’t plan anything, I just wandered. Through the gardens, past the long pool lined with palms, and along quiet paths. Nothing felt rushed or over-designed. Everything was simple, thoughtful, and connected to the land and nature.
I had A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle with me, and it couldn’t have been a better match. I would read a few lines, underline a sentence, then look up and let the words sink in. Surrounded by stillness and nature, the book felt so alive....

Lunch was served in the garden, on a day bed in the sun. Most of what was on the plate came from Atzaró’s own organic farm. Fresh, seasonal, and prepared with so much care. I ate slowly, watching butterflies drift between the flowers, completely in the moment.

What stayed with me most was the pace. Nobody was rushing. Not the staff, not the guests, not even the breeze. It reminded me how good it feels to let life move gently, to breathe more deeply and listen more.
I left with dusty sandals, a sun-warmed face, and a quiet mind. Atzaró gave me exactly what I didn’t know I was craving: a pocket of peace in the middle of everything... With love, Sofie
